Whether you planning to see a parade, fireworks, or have a picnic, I hope you will enjoy your Fourth of July holiday tomorrow, taking the time to celebrate the freedoms our nation holds dear.
July 4 celebrates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence 241 years ago in 1776 by the Second Continental Congress at Independence Hall in Philadelphia.
Let us not forget the second sentence of this incredible document: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”
