Congratulations to all 228 members of our graduating class who participated in Match Day this past Friday.
Match Day is one of the most important and exciting days for medical students across the country—the day each of them learn where they will continue clinical training after graduation.
It was a beautiful sunny day. I was thrilled to experience the day with our students and their loved ones as they opened envelopes revealing their futures.
Here is the official roster, detailing where our students will go for residency training: https://med.uth.edu/admissions/files/2017/03/2017-Match-Report.pdf

Special thanks to the medical school’s Office of Admissions and Student Affairs for coordinating the match and Match Day celebration and to our Office of Educational Programs for all they do for our students.
I’m so proud of our students and wish them the best as they continue on the lifelong journey of becoming and being a doctor.
And a thank you to all of our doctors on this, Doctor Appreciation Day!
