GME Mission Statement
The mission of the Office of Graduate Medical Education is to support the success of the residency and fellowship training programs of the McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, and the trainees, faculty and staff in these programs. The GME Office advocates for high-quality education and training, supports programs in achieving and maintaining accreditation, and promotes the professional growth and well-being of trainees, faculty and staff.
