Biography

Dr. Matthew Ivey is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.

Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, Dr. Ivey is a Podiatrist specializing in disorders and deformities of the foot and ankle. He treats a wide variety of conditions, including sports medicine injuries, reconstruction and treatment following degenerative illness or trauma, as well as general foot and ankle deformities.

Dr. Ivey received his undergraduate degree from East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, Texas. He then went on to complete the Harris County Podiatric Surgical Residency Program.

Dr. Ivey is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Podiatric Medical Association, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and the Texas Podiatric Medical Association.
