2014 Paul E. Strandjord Young Investigator Award from the Academy of Clinical Physicians and Scientists (ACLPS) for 2014: Winners from the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, University of Texas-Houston Medical School.

Each year, the abstract review committee of ACLPS selects 30 winners for the Paul E. Strandjord Young Investigator Award from submitted abstracts. This year over 90 abstracts were submitted. Dr. Konopka and Dr. Welsh were selected as recipients of the Paul E. Strandjord Young Investigator Awards in 2014. Congratulations to both winners. They are invited to attend the annual meeting of ACLPS May 29-31, 2014 in San Francisco to receive the award and also to present their work before the attendees of the meeting.
