Mary F. McGuire PhD is presenting at the Big Data in Biomedicine Conference at Stanford University School of Medicine this month. She will share what has been learned from three “exceptional responders” whose molecular profiles were generated through the Consultative Proteomics service here in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.  Dr. Robert E. Brown offers this specialized consult service to assist oncologists in determining treatments for cancer patients whose disease has not responded to conventional chemotherapy.
