The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (DPALM) has established opportunities for professional development with the Faculty Mentoring Program and the DPALM Internal Review System. The goals of these programs are to 1) enhance the continued development of each faculty member and their impact on their field(s) of interest and 2) to maintain a skilled, knowledgeable, and motivated faculty.
With the implementation of the Faculty Mentoring Program, the department is promoting a culture of personal development in education, research, and leadership skills. Along with the Mentoring Program, the department is establishing the Internal Review System to provide constructive input on publications and grant applications.
