The research strategy of CIRC is to integrate the basic science and clinical approaches by promoting scientific exchange and research collaborations. Thus, the participants are drawn from various clinical and basic science laboratories of the Medical Center. In addition, collaborators from Japan, France and Russia are consulting CIRC members. CIRC investigators have established research and development programs in autoimmune disease, inflammation, infectious disease, neuroscience, cardiovascular disease and cancer. CIRC clinical faculty provide disease-related expertise and patient samples for several currently active research projects.
