Biography

Dr. Yadav completed his residency in Pediatrics at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York and his Fellowship training in Pediatric Pulmonology here at UTHealth. He has a special interest in pulmonary complications of sickle cell disease, children with complex medical needs and neonatal lung diseases. Dr. Yadav has successfully developed a combined Hematology-Pulmonary program at the UT Physicians Comprehensive Sickle Cell Center, one of a handful of centers across the country. In addition, he provides support for the High Risk Children’s Clinic and High Risk Infant Clinic; that care for children with varied complex medical needs and the Pulmonary-Neonatology clinic for premature neonates and infants at our institution. He has published and has ongoing research in sickle cell and lung disorders.
