Christopher has been in the field of perfusion for the last five years.  He was born in Texas but grew up in New Mexico.  He finished his undergraduate education from Midwestern State University in Cardiopulmonary Science.  He worked as a Respiratory therapist in Louisiana and Texas.  Christopher learned of the field of perfusion while in respiratory school. Having interests in furthering his career and education he attended the Texas Heart Institute School of Perfusion Technology.  After graduation, he has practiced at Christus St Elizabeth in Beaumont, TX, and Houston Methodist Hospital.  Christopher has been a clinician at the Center for Advanced Heart Failure since November of 2015.  Christopher also donates his time to Camp Pump It Up as a camp counselor, a summer camp for children with congenital heart defects.  He is a member of the American Society of Extracorporeal Technology.  Christopher has a passion for educating and currently seeking to pursue his graduate education in perfusion sciences.
