Electronic Residency Application Service
Our recruitment begins with the opening of ERAS in September each year. All interested candidates must apply through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) to submit an application. Completed applications will be accepted starting Sept. 15 through Nov. 15.
The following supporting documents are required with your application:
- Three letters of recommendation (at least one from PM&R Physician)
- Current CV
- Personal statement
- Medical school transcript
- USMLE/COMLEX transcript
Kindly Note: If there is a change of name from that on the above documents, submit a marriage certificate or legal name change documentation.
Select candidates will be invited for an interview. We offer an optional meet and greet with the current residents the night before the interview. Interviews generally begin on Friday morning and end after lunch. Interviewee will get a chance to meet and interact with residents and faculty on the interview day. All interviewees will participate in a tour of TIRR Memorial Hermann and other facilities (weather permitting.)
