Stephanie Mojena, PsyD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She is a licensed psychologist with primary clinical interest in the assessment and delivery of evidence-based treatments for adults with severe mental illness and Latino/Hispanic populations. She provides clinical services in both Spanish and English.
Mojena provides psychological services to adults at UTHealth HCPC, and clinical supervision and training to psychology students and psychiatry residents. She also provides services as part of the Recovery Oriented Treatment Program (ROTP), a 90-day inpatient program designed to provide intensive interventions for individuals with severe mental illness at UTHealth Harris County Psychiatric Center (HCPC).
Mojena completed her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from William James College and completed her pre-doctoral internship at Denver Health Medical Center. She joined UTHealth in 2021 to complete her clinical psychology postdoctoral fellowship at Harris County Psychiatric Center, with an emphasis in serious mental illness.
