Shaojie Han, M.D., M.S. is a board certified adult psychiatrist and fellowship-trained addiction psychiatrist with the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. He received his medical degree at Tongji Medical University in China and completed his residency training in psychiatry at UMDNJ – Rutgers Medical School. During his fellowship, Dr. Han refined his expertise in treating patients with mental illnesses and substance abuse. He is also experienced in the evaluation and management of depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety and borderline personality disorder. Dr. Han’s therapeutic approaches combine medications and psychotherapies. He is dedicated to creating a healthy outcome for all of his patients and being an advocate for people who suffer from mental illnesses.

Dr. Han is also actively involved in medical education and research. He has contributed to publications in scientific journals and co-authored medical books for mental health professionals. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry.
