Gregoric accepts international award from Slovenian leadership

Dr. Igor Gregoric, chief of the surgical division and program director for the Center for Advanced Heart Failure, was honored by fellow Slovenians with a national award for his efforts in enabling the circulation of Slovenian knowledge between Slovenia and other countries.

Bike Safety

Do you commute around McGovern Medical School and the Med Center on a bicycle? Are you interested in doing so? Be sure to check out the table set up by UT Police in the Leather Lounge as part of Thursday’s Safety Fair to check out new bike equipment, hear tips about being safe, and learn about tire pump and bicycle repair kit housed at the MSB guard desk.


The 61st Annual Edward T Smith Orthopaedic Lectureship will be held April 13 and 14 at the Marriott Marquis (1777 Walker St). Orthopaedic surgeons, fellows, residents, and other healthcare professionals in orthopedic surgery are encouraged to register for the event, focused on “Joint Arthroplasty: Future Solutions for Present Day Problems.” To register, visit the event’s website here:
