Office of Professionalism
Dean Barbara J. Stoll announced the creation of a new medical school Office of Professionalism, to be led by John Riggs, MD, MS, professor of obstetrics and gynecology, who will be the inaugural assistant dean for professionalism.
The office will further McGovern Medical School's culture of teaching and learning that is rooted in respect for all. The office will tie together the many existing programs to promote professionalism and develop new initiatives.
Rec Center, Child Development Center Closed
For the safety of our faculty, staff, and students, UTHealth Recreation Center and Child Development Center are closed until further notice.

Postponed: Emerging Leaders Institute
The health and safety of our faculty, staff, and students is UTHealth’s highest priority. In light of the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) developments, the Emerging Leaders Institute, originally scheduled for March 31, has been postponed to the fall.
