The conference is a partnership initiative between member institutions of the Texas Medical Center (TMC) that provides a forum for discussion for trainees, practitioners, and researchers in global health across the nation to exchange ideas, innovate, and collaborate. We expect this year’s conference attendance to be at least 150 registrants from institutions in the TMC and nationwide. The conference agenda will include tracks on global health and technology, health policy and ethics, global surgery, psychosocial issues, and more. We would like to highlight speakers whose work embodies interprofessional efforts at a global level on the themes like Global Nutrition Crisis & Prevalence of NCDs track taking place on Saturday, April 6th.
The event spans the entire day and encompasses breakfast, lunch, and a cocktail reception featuring live piano music, providing an excellent networking opportunity.
