Dr. Rex Marco, a prominent spine surgeon here at UTHealth Houston, found a new purpose in his profession when a serious bicycle-related injury turned him into a patient. Dr. Marco’s life-changing injury has given a new perspective on the importance of hope. His talk is entitled “When Life Takes Your Breath Away.”
