The new Upper Extremity Trauma course is designed to enhance your knowledge and confidence in managing these often-overlooked injuries. Upper extremity fractures receive less focus in orthopedic training—whether in trauma, shoulder/elbow, or hand subspecialties—leaving many surgeons navigating complex cases with limited exposure.
This 1.5-day course brings together expert faculty, many with dual fellowship training, to provide a comprehensive, hands-on experience. Sessions include didactics, case discussions, debates, and cadaveric dissections with implant placement. We’ll cover the full spectrum of upper extremity trauma, from the clavicle to the distal radius.
Distinguished faculty will present their experience, techniques, and pearls of wisdom regarding upper extremity traumatic injuries, supplemented by time in a lab for
cadaveric dissection and placement of implants.
