PLA Updates

When should a PLA be updated?

A change in program director or DIO does not require updating a PLA with new signatures. PLAs must be updated and renewed at least every 10 years.

• PLAs are updated whenever there is an amendment (i.e. change in):
  • Program Director or
  • Participating site director or
  • Resident/fellow assignments.
