Away Electives & Visiting Trainees
AWAY ELECTIVE
- All current UTHealth Residents and Fellows interested in participating in an away elective rotation must complete the Away Elective – GME Application and submit the following documents to their program coordinator for additional processing.
REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS: Turn in to the GME Office at least 30 days prior to the start of the rotation.
NOTE: All resident/fellow(s) rotating outside the country must turn in their documents 60 days prior to the start of the rotation. Additional approval is required by the UT System Office in Austin for International PLI.
VISITING TRAINEES
- Residents interested in participating in elective rotations at the McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston MUST complete the Visiting Resident Elective Pre-Registration Form and submit it directly to the training program with which they wish to rotate for consideration.
