Biography

Konstantinos Charitakis, MD, is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology. Dr. Charitakis specializes in angioplasty and stenting. His clinical expertise extends from the performance of complex coronary interventions to endovascular treatment of peripheral disease. He is certified in nuclear cardiology which uses noninvasive techniques assess heart conditions and function.

He offers second opinions for cardiovascular conditions. When it comes to patient experience, Dr. Charitakis committed to excellent care and attention to detail. He values his patients’ time and does his best to ensure they are seen as quickly as possible.

Dr. Charitakis is also an associate professor of Medicine in the Department of Cardiology at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston). He is committed to training the next generation of interventional cardiologists and teaches medical students and residents on all levels.
