Dr. Gustavo Oderich Named President-Elect of the International Society of Endovascular Specialists

We are pleased to announce that Gustavo Oderich, MD, professor and chief of Vascular Surgery, has been named President-Elect for the International Society of Endovascular Specialists (ISEVS).

Prior to joining UTHealth Houston in 2020, Dr. Oderich served as the immediate past chair of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the Mayo Clinic. He is world-renowned for his advancements in fenestrated and branched stent-graft technology and is one of a few surgeons in the United States to have physician sponsored, Federal Drug Administration (FDA) approved access to the entire pipeline of company manufactured Cook fenestrated and branched stent-grafts to treat aortic arch, thoracoabdominal and complex abdominal aortic aneurysms.
