Breastfeeding Support from Lactation Consultants in Houston

The Lactation Foundation at UTHealth McGovern Medical School provides personalized, evidence-based breastfeeding support from board-certified International Board-Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs (external link)).

We are Houston’s academic medical lactation center. We provide evidence-based breastfeeding support from board-certified IBCLCs, plus breastfeeding medicine when a medical problem needs evaluation and treatment.

We have offices located in Houston, TX, and see patients from all over the Houston area, including Inner Loop, the Texas Medical Center, Spring Branch, Memorial, Katy, Cypress, Spring, Humble, Kingwood, Pasadena, Sugar Land, Missouri City, Pearland, Clear Lake, Webster, Friendswood, and more.

We accept most insurance plans, including Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, Tricare, Medicaid, Community Health Choice, Kelsey-Seybold, Memorial Hermann Health Plan, and others.
