Dr. Catherine Ambrose is a Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. She also serves as the Director of the Biomechanics Laboratory, the Bone Histomorphometry Laboratory, and the Bone Densitometry Laboratory for the Department of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Ambrose is also an Adjunct Associate Professor in Biomedical Engineering at Rice University.
Dr. Ambrose received her undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University in Saint Louis, Missouri. She went on to complete both a Masters of Science in Biomechanical Engineering and her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in Austin, Texas.
