Biography

Dr. Lindsay Crawford is an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.

Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Crawford specializes in Pediatric Orthopedics with an emphasis in Spinal Deformity and Scoliosis. Treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal issues and injuries in children and young adults, Dr. Crawford is currently the team physician for Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart and Dynamo/Dash Youth Programs.

Dr. Crawford received her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. She attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Following an Orthopedic Surgery residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, Dr. Crawford went on to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedics at Orlando Health, Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital in Orlando, Florida.

Dr. Crawford is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Ruth Jackson Orthopedic Society, the Scoliosis Research Society, and the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America.

Since joining UT Ortho, Dr. Crawford has received multiple honors including Houstonia Top Doctor, H Texas Top Doctor, Texas Monthly Super Doctor Rising Star, as well as the Dean’s teaching awards for her role in training McGovern medical students and residents.
