Walter R. Lowe Knee Registry
This is a data registry created in collaboration with several sports medicine surgeons at UTHealth Houston Department of Orthopedic Surgery. Its goal is to establish a consistent and reliable method for collecting data on patients recovering from knee surgeries.
By analyzing data from both physical therapy functional tests and patient self-reported surveys, the surgeons can identify patients who aren’t progressing as expected during recovery. This information also allows them to evaluate their overall recovery outcomes and identify key research questions that can enhance knee surgery techniques and improve patient care.
