Biography

Dr. Richard Beaver is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.

Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Beaver specializes in surgery on the foot and ankle.

Dr. Beaver received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. He attended medical school at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where he also completed his internship and Orthopedic Surgery residency. He went on to complete a fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery at the Foundation for Orthopedic Athletic Reconstruction and Research in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Beaver is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society.
