Osteoporosis in men is a common but frequently overlooked condition that significantly increases the risk of fractures and long-term disability. As men age, gradual bone loss—often compounded by factors such as low testosterone, certain medications, or chronic disease—can weaken the skeleton without obvious symptoms.
These images illustrate the importance of recognizing osteoporosis in men and reinforce the need for early evaluation, risk assessment, and evidence-based treatment to preserve bone strength and reduce fracture risk.

Treatment decisions are individualized and should be made in consultation with a UTHealth Houston provider.
