Our Breast and Gynecologic Pathology Service offers comprehensive diagnostic expertise for a wide range of malignant and benign conditions affecting the breast and female reproductive system. Led by Dr. Karan Saluja, Director of Breast Pathology, our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality, precise, and timely diagnostic services to support optimal patient care.
Our specialized service covers various pathologies, including tumors and lesions of the breast, uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, cervix, and vulva. We provide detailed assessments which are essential for accurate diagnosis and effective management of breast and gynecologic diseases. Our laboratory is equipped to perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, including histopathological examinations, immunohistochemistry, molecular testing, and other specialized assays. This comprehensive approach ensures thorough evaluations, allowing the development of personalized treatment plans for our patients.
In addition to serving patients at Memorial Hermann Hospital-Texas Medical Center (MHH-TMC) and Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ) Hospital, our Breast and Gynecologic Pathology Service also supports our outreach program, UTPath, extending our diagnostic expertise to patients throughout the state of Texas.
