Biography

Dr. Chambers is part of the multidisciplinary Houston Emergency Opioid Engagement System (HEROES) team addressing the opioid use disorder epidemic and was one of the first emergency physicians in Texas to receive approval to provide maintenance and detoxification treatment. In addition to addiction medicine, she has published and presented in the areas of critical care, trauma, and geriatric medicine. She is also interested in the healthcare communications.
