Academic Partnership and Didactic Excellence
This fellowship is developed in collaboration with the Cizik School of Nursing at UTHealth Houston (external link), providing you with access to a premier structured cardiovascular education curriculum. As a fellow, you will utilize comprehensive online modules through the cardiovascular advanced practice course. This integrated academic-clinical model ensures a strong foundation in both theoretical knowledge and real-world clinical application.
Curriculum Structure
The fellowship combines clinical rotations, structured didactics, and mentorship. Your training will go beyond the clinical setting. You’ll master complex care through in-depth, case-based studies, and receive regular, one-on-one feedback from your faculty mentors. Clinical training follows a progressive responsibility model, with increasing autonomy throughout the year.
