Program Duration: 12 months (full-time, intensive training)

Eligibility and Requirements

To be considered for the fellowship, you must:

  • Hold or be eligible for licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant by the program start date
  • Meet credentialing requirements within UTHealth Houston
  • Demonstrate a strong interest in cardiovascular medicine

Application Process

All applicants must complete both of the following steps:

Submit an application for the Graduate NP/PA Fellowship Position through the official UTHealth Houston careers portal.

Step 2: Submit Supplemental Fellowship Application (Required)
Complete the Interview Questionnaire that will be sent once you have completed the application through the UTHealth Houston Portal.

Selection Process

  • Applications will be reviewed using a standardized evaluation process
  • Selected candidates will be invited for interviews
  • Final candidates must meet all UTHealth Houston employment requirements
