Biography

Misha Koshelev, M.D., Ph.D., was born in St. Petersburg, Russia, and moved to El Paso, Texas, with his family as a child. He earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology at Harvard College and pursued a combined M.D./Ph.D. program at Baylor College of Medicine. After completing his medical and graduate degrees, he finished his internship and began his dermatology residency at Baylor College of Medicine. In his last year of residency training, he was selected by the faculty as the Chief Resident in Dermatology. He now serves on the faculty of the McGovern Medical School as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Koshelev is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
