Biography

Dr. Camden Tissue is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. Dr. Tissue specializes in Orthopedic Trauma with an emphasis nonunions and complications of fractures, as well as acute fracture care. Dr. Tissue is involved with orthopedic trauma education of medical students, residents, and other orthopedic surgeons around the community.

Dr. Tissue received his undergraduate degree in biomedical science from Texas A&M University. He attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston where he also completed a five year orthopedic surgery residency. He went on to complete a fellowship in orthopedic trauma in New York City at the Hospital for Special Surgery and Weill Cornell Medical College.

Dr. Tissue is an active member of the Orthopedic Trauma Association and AO Trauma North America. He is a lifelong Houstonian.
