COVID-19 Update

COVID-19 bannerThe Department of Orthopaedic Surgery has implemented additional precautions to protect patients, workforce, and the community, effective Tuesday, March 17.

We are asking all patients to be flexible and understanding as schedules and appointments/surgeries change and shift. We are here for our community especially in emergent and urgent circumstances.  The whole healthcare system is taking on this virus, and we want to be respectful and wise with our resources.

We deeply appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we continue down this path. We will always do what is in the best interest of our patients, our physicians, and our staff.

If you have a scheduled appointment or surgery, your healthcare provider’s team will be reaching out about next steps. We ask you please be patient and their team will follow-up with you.

As we continue to work with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other health care organizations, our protocols may change again to better protect what is most important to us – our patients – you.
