Steps on submission:
- Click this link navigating to REDCap and log-in with your UTHealth Credentials
- Under “My Projects” click “Orthopedic Research Project Tracker”
- Once in the project, on the left-hand side click “Add/Edit Records”
- Click “Add new record” and start filling out the “Registration” form

- On the left-hand side click “Record Status Dashboard” to view projects you have submitted
*It is a requirement to register ALL research studies being conducted in the department so we can track all research, provide the appropriate resources, and conduct high-quality studies.
*Once the “Registration” form is filled out, Layla Haidar (Program Manager-Research) will contact you to discuss and help with the next steps to conducting your research study.
*The “Registration” form will be used to create an IRB protocol, which Natasha Howard (IRB regulatory specialist) will then submit to the IRB for you. If this is NOT a clinical research study or does not need IRB approval, registration will still need to be completed so we can track and review your study to make sure you have the necessary and appropriate resources.
