Our Approach

As part of the Rockets Sports Medicine Institutes, our specialists employ a multi-disciplinary approach to the treatment of a wide variety of sports-related injuries. Working closely with Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Primary Care and Internal Medicine physicians, Neuropsychologists, Physical Therapists and strength and conditioning coaches, our team is able to offer individualized care and customized treatment programs. Several members of our team were athletes at the college or professional level, giving them the unique ability to understand the experience through the eyes of both the patient and the physician.

Our elite, fellowship-trained physicians are recognized leaders in sports medicine, serving as the head team physicians for the NFL Houston Texans, NBA Houston Rockets, MLS Houston Dynamo, NWSL Houston Dash, and University of Houston athletics. They are a trusted presence on the sidelines and in training rooms at St. Thomas University, Houston Christian University, and Houston’s top high schools and elite clubs.

In addition to their exceptional clinical practice, our physicians are esteemed faculty members in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School, part of UTHealth Houston, where they shape the next generation of medical leaders. At the forefront of groundbreaking research, they regularly contribute to national presentations and publish in leading peer-reviewed journals, continually setting the standard in orthopedic care and advancing the field to new heights.
