Our Approach

As part of the Ironman Sports Medicine Institutes, our specialists employ a multi-disciplinary approach to the treatment of a wide variety of sports-related injuries. Working closely with Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Primary Care and Internal Medicine physicians, Neuropsychologists, Physical Therapists and strength and conditioning coaches, our team is able to offer individualized care and customized treatment programs. Several members of our team were athletes at the college or professional level, giving them the unique ability to understand the experience through the eyes of both the patient and the physician.

We are not only fellowship-trained, but maintain an active presence in the sports community. Our team includes the head team physician for the NFL Houston Texans, NBA Houston Rockets, MLB Houston Astros, and University of Houston athletics. Our specialists can be seen in the training rooms and on the sidelines at St. Thomas University, Houston Baptist University, as well as numerous high schools and elite clubs in Houston and the surrounding communities.
