Areas of Interest

Clinical Interests

Pioneering work on using exogenous mRNA from normal tissues in modifying the biology of tumor cells in vitro and in animal systems in vivo (1966-1989)

Regulatory and metabolic aspects of genetic predisposition to tumor development in mice systems (1971-1989)

Cytogenetics and molecular genetics of predisposition to tumor development and of controlling the metastatic phenotype of tumor cells (1990-1997)

Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (Clinical Immunology, Transfusion Medicine, Hemoglobinopathies, Gammopathies/Multiple myeloma) 2001-2018

Diagnostic Consulting Service (DCS): Developing the DCS concept, running a pilot project at Harris Health using Rheumatology and Diabetes services for this matter, bringing over 31 million in federal funds for the program development and achieving significant improvement of major quality metrics for these services.
