Dr. Matthew Greives is the Director of the Division of Plastic and Craniofacial Surgery in the Department of Pediatric Surgery at McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). He received his undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis, MO, his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine in New York, NY, and completed his plastic and reconstructive residency training at the University of Chicago Hospital in Chicago, IL. After residency, he completed fellowship training in Craniofacial Surgery at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh/University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA. During his plastic surgery training, he completed a Clinical Observership in Ear Reconstruction under the tutilage of Dr. Francoise Firmin in Paris, France. Dr. Greives is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Matthew R. Greives, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Plastic Surgery at McGovern Medical School. His research focuses on surgical outcomes of patients with craniofacial and cleft anomalies as well as translational tissue engineering solutions to combat many of the problems encountered in these same patient populations.
