Allison Gurick BS, CCP, LP

Biography

Allison is originally from San Antonio, Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology from Texas A&M University and later completed her Bachelor of Science in Cardiovascular Perfusion at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.

Upon graduation, Allison joined the UTHealth Houston Advanced Cardiopulmonary Therapies and Transplantation perfusion team. She enjoys the variety of responsibilities in her role as a perfusionist and values being an integral part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. She appreciates the opportunity to teach and mentor students as they develop their clinical skills and knowledge.

Allison enjoys spending time with her husband, young son, and two dogs. She is an avid runner who regularly trains for half and full marathons and enjoys swimming, cycling, yoga and traveling.
