Accreditation

The UTHealth Cardiovascular Perfusion Program at McGovern Medical School is accredited by the The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) upon the recommendation of the Accreditation Committee for Perfusion Education (AC-PE). The University of Texas Health Science Center is accredited by he Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).

The program received its initial accreditation on November 20th, 2015.  Continued accreditation was granted in 2020. Our 10 year evaluation and continued accreditation is expected in late 2025
