WordPress Training Registration

WordPress Training Registration has been closed.

Our next WordPress training course is scheduled for Friday, March 21, 2025, 9–11:00 a.m. via Microsoft Teams Meeting. An invitation to join the online meeting will be sent the day before the meeting to all approved registrants.

Registration will be cut off at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.

This is a beginner-level class perfect for employees learning how to use WordPress within the McGovern Medical School website.

To attend the class, you must have a Registration for Website Access on file with the Office of Communications. We need a record that your department has granted you permission for website updates.

Website Access

Access to a website will be granted after the following:

  1. Registration for Website Access is approved and on file
  2. WordPress Training course is completed
  3. WordPress training assessment in iLearn is successfully completed

Website Limitations

This training will allow you to make simple content edits. Our website is a public source of information of the medical school and its departments and offices. Pages follow a consistent look and must adhere to certain guidelines for branding and accessibility.

  • Maintain branding & structure via the available templates.
  • Uploading of PDF, Word, PowerPoint, spreadsheet and video files is prohibited.
  • For HIPAA compliance, do not request any patient information via the website.

Our team has the right to take action for any violations.
