WordPress Training at McGovern Medical School

Helping employees at McGovern Medical School learn and understand the WordPress Content Management System.

Part of the duties of McGovern Medical School website content editors is to assure web compliance and accessibility. We follow the lead of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

The World Wide Web Consortium develops standards to ensure the growth of the Web.

This group has created the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI), which is a resource to understand and implement accessibility.

Also, you can visit our Web Compliance page for an introduction to web compliance and accessibility.

Training Schedule

We have scheduled a beginner-level WordPress training course for Friday, July 26, 2024. Visit the WordPress Training Registration page for details.

We will schedule our next training session once we have enough registrants. If you would like to be trained, please email us so we may add you to our list. Include your department or division name and your UTHealth Houston username.

Please be aware that you need to have a Registration for Website Access request completed and approved by your DMO before attending a training session.
