The Honorable Michael Burgess, MD, ’77, represents Denton County in the US House of Representatives. Dr. Burgess serves as the Ranking Member and former Chairman of the powerful Subcommittee on Health in the House Energy and Commerce Committee. He is one of seven physicians serving in the House. This session featured a conversation with Dr. Burgess on federal health policy, the state of health care in the country, and what to make of the politics in Washington DC in 2020.
