Julie Philley, MD, ’06, added to the East Texas Medical Center Foundation Board of Directors

The East Texas Medical Center Foundation has announced that Julie Philley, MD, ’06, has been added to the board of directors.

Philley is a pulmonary and critical care physician at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler. She serves as the chair of the Department of Medicine and chief of pulmonary and critical care. She studied medicine at McGovern Medical School, completing an internal medicine residency program at Johns Hopkins University/Sinai Hospital and a fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Dallas. Special research interests include bronchiectasis and mycobacterial lung infections.
