Something special about training at UTHealth Houston
This program lets us see a little bit of everything. I love that we have multiple sites to rotate at and how unique each site is. Harris Health gives us the opportunity to care for those who the healthcare system typically excludes, UT gives us the full spectrum of interesting general dermatology, and MD Anderson allows us to care for patients with complex and unique oncologic conditions. I love that we have so many brilliant attendings on faculty to learn from who all have their own expertise and approaches. One of my biggest draws here was how welcoming, kind, supportive, and fun everyone was though!
My typical weekend
Doing something outside! Usually running or hanging out in the park with my dog and husband. I also love a good dinner or game night with friends.
