Why Is this course different?

Welcome to the EP Heart Cardiovascular Electrophysiology program. This inaugural program opened its doors in January 2018, through our affiliation with McGovern Medical School. Located in Houston’s Texas Medical Center, the largest medical center in the world, we have access to some of the top physicians and EP lab staff, in the busiest and best hospitals.  As part of our program, students complete clinical rotations at the Memorial Hermann System  and EP Heart Clinics all over Houston.

Our six month course curriculum offers both pacing and electrophysiology.  Other programs may offer both, but are longer in duration or offer only pacing for the six months of duration. To get the best of both worlds, we teach both fields in an intensive, power-packed program.

As the Program Director for this course, we are thrilled to offer a course designed from the ground up to meet the needs of today’s clinicians and prepare trainees for opportunities with device manufacturers, clinics, and hospitals across the nation.

ATTENTION!! New Course addition – Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) focus only program.

This 8 week program is designed for the professional who would like to solely focus on CRM to be able to support device clinics in hospitals or physician practices.  Opportunities also exist with our traditional industry partners as well as providers of remote device evaluation services. An Associate’s Degree is required for this program.
