The Brown Foundation Institute of Molecular Medicine for the Prevention of Human Diseases (IMM) is part of the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston McGovern Medical School. IMM is a translational research institute that investigates the cause of human diseases at the genetic, cellular, and molecular level. We invite applications for a tenure track faculty position in the Center for Neuroimmunology and Glial Biology (CNG), one of eight research centers within the IMM. The appointment will be at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level. The candidate will be expected to play a key role in strengthening an academic program in studying neuroimmune and glial function in health and diseases.
The candidate is expected to supervise students, postdoctoral fellows, and research scientists. A background in neuroscience, immunology or neuroimmunology is desirable. Experience in basic research in glial biology is a plus. To apply, please complete an application on-line at:

Successful candidates will have a PhD, MD/PhD, or equivalent degree with a strong publication track record and will have active grant funding. Please submit a CV and a cover letter.
