Accessing UTHealth Email on Your Mobile Device

UTHealth has moved to Microsoft Exchange Online — a cloud-based email platform. This means you can access your UTHealth email from your personal mobile device using one of the two options below.

 

Option 1: Use the Outlook App (Recommended)

The easiest way to access your UTHealth email on a personal device is to download the Microsoft Outlook app. You do not need to enroll your device in MDM — simply install the app, sign in with your UTHealth credentials, and your email is ready to go. UTHealth IT manages security settings within the app only, leaving the rest of your device untouched.

Option 2: Use Your Device’s Built-In Mail App (Requires Full Enrollment)

If you prefer to use the native Mail app on iOS or the built-in email app on Android, your device will need to be fully enrolled in Intune MDM. Once enrolled, UTHealth IT will automatically push the necessary settings to connect your device to Exchange Online.
