Cameron Jeter To Receive SfN Graduate Student Travel Award

August 26, 2015

Cameron Jeter, neuroscience graduate student affiliated with the Department of Neurobiology and Anatomy’s Sereno Lab, has been awarded one of the 2009 Society for Neuroscience (SfN) Chapters Graduate Student Travel Awards.

The award honors outstanding graduate students nominated by their local SfN chapter.  Awardees are chosen based on the scientific merit of the abstract, evidence of outreach activities, and letters of nomination from the principal investigator or mentor and the local nominating chapter.

The award provides a stipend to help defray travel expenses and provides complimentary meeting registration fees to the annual meeting, this year in Chicago.

The Department of Neurobiology and Anatomy congratulates Ms Jeter for this achievement.
